Planning a wedding day timeline is highly encouraged. It keeps your vendors in-line and adds a layer of time-security to your day.

As we approach your wedding day, I will reach out via email to discuss your wedding day timeline to ensure that I understand your priorities.

Whether you're wanting to do a first look or go the traditional route, I've gathered two sample timelines to guide your planning:

sample family photo list:

Family photos are so important, especially on a day when two families become one! Creating a list of must-have family portraits will ensure I'm not missing any photos of important people.

I encourage you to bring a few printed copies to reference and assigning a family member, friend, or bridesmaid to make sure each person is present for portraits.

checklist

06.

This is a such a tricky question because while a coordinator is GREAT - a bossy family member will get the job done, as well. You might consider just a day-of coordinator or even a month-of coordinator to keep costs low!

06. Do we need to hire a coordinator?

Everything from the checklist above! I start off with detail shots and flat lays to get a feel for the venue and lighting. Here's a handy-dandy box you can store everything in!

05. what needs to be ready for you when you arrive?

Absolutely and it's my favorite thing to do for you! It helps you know what kind of timing to expect for each event, and helps me keep my ducks in a row!

04. can you help with our timeline?

I do not! I do, however, ask for a list of names and groupings of family members that you might want photos of, but I don't need a shot list of details you want captured. I got you ;)

03. do you need a shot list?

No. I would fully suggest not to either just to relieve some stress off your shoulders. Keep a general timeline like the one I help plan and go with the flow!

02. do i need to plan every second of my day?

Nope! You guys do what feels right to you. If you don't want to fit in with the norm of first looks, then don't!

01. Do we have to do a first look?

Have a question? I've got an answer! And if you don't see your question here, please reach out via email.
